/ About the project
Made for dreamers, doers, and anyone still finding their way, this Year of the Horse collection is a little reminder that every horse runs at its own pace. The finish line doesn’t have to be in sight; sometimes all it takes is the courage to begin.

/ design concept
In Vietnamese culture, the horse is often seen as a symbol of strength, speed, and always moving forward. But sometimes, that image can feel a little intimidating, as if we always need to be running faster, achieving more, and knowing exactly where we’re headed.
“Có hí thì nên” is a playful twist on the Vietnamese saying “Có chí thì nên” (Where there’s a will, there’s a way). It’s made for those who have plenty of passion but might hesitate when success isn’t immediately in sight. With this collection, instead of celebrating speed, I wanted to celebrate momentum. Every horse has its own pace, and every journey unfolds differently. You don’t have to sprint toward success or have everything figured out from the start. Wherever you’re headed, just keep going, trust your own stride, and remember: fast or slow, every gallop counts.

/ applications
The final collection consists of six artworks, each depicting a different scene along the horse’s journey.
During the design process, I found inspiration in The Horse in Motion and its frame-by-frame study of movement. That idea evolved into a playful pop-up interaction - an element of surprise!
When the envelope is opened, a horse pops up in mid-gallop, revealing a moment from its journey as it travels from one place to another. The envelope can then be propped up and displayed, using the outer packaging as a standee.
